Michael Dittberner practices exclusively in the area of family law, including contested custody matters, along with complex business valuations, spousal maintenance cases and child support proceedings. Mr. Dittberner is a past Chair of the Family Law Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association and is a fellow in the Minnesota Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. He also teaches many continuing legal education courses in the area of family law, and helps compile the case law update for the annual Family Law Institute report. For many years, he has been recognized as a Super Lawyer and a member of the top five percent of family law attorneys in Minnesota.
Karen Linder has been practicing law since 1982, 20 of those years exclusively in the area of family law. She has been named a Minnesota Family Law Super Lawyer for several years. Karen also has been recognized as one of Minnesota's Top 100 Women Super Lawyers. Ms. Linder received her bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota in 1979 and her juris doctor degree from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1982. She is a member of the Hennepin County, Minnesota State, and American Bar Associations as well as the Collaborative Law Institute. Ms. Linder was also a member of the Advisory Task Force on the Guardian Ad Litem System for the Minnesota Supreme Court. Karen has co-authored: "Practitioner's Guide to An Efficient Family Law Practice," and has been a speaker for the Minnesota State Bar, Family Law Institute, Minnesota Institute of Legal Education, and Minnesota Association for Justice continuing legal education programs.
Lorraine Clugg has been practicing law since 1982, 21 of those years exclusively in the area of family law and has been regularly named one of Minnesota's Top Family Law Super Lawyers. She is a Past-President of the Minnesota Chapter of the Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, has served as President of the Family Law Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association, and has co-chaired the Family Law Sections for the Trial Lawyers and the Hennepin County Family Law Sections. She also serves regularly as a parenting consultant, speaks frequently at Continuing Legal Education Courses, and is one of the authors of the new Minnesota Custody and Child Support Desk Book. She is a member of the Collaborative Law Institute and is also a mediator. Her practice includes matters relating to custody and access of children, support and maintenance issues, and the full range of property issues.
Elizabeth Bryant has been practicing family law for 16 years. She has been named one of Minnesota's Top 40 Family Law Super Lawyers and Top 100 Women Super Lawyers. Originally from Grand Forks, North Dakota, she is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College and the University of Michigan Law School. She advises and represents persons contemplating or involved in divorce proceedings, in private negotiation, mediation and in Court. She has an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, and is a fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
Lisa Bachmeier was admitted to the Minnesota Bar in 2002 and practices exclusively in the area of family law. She was named a Rising Star attorney in 2008. Ms. Bachmeier clerked for three years for the Honorable James T. Swenson, former presiding Judge of Hennepin County Family Court and current Chief Judge of Hennepin County. She has written articles and given presentations on family law matters for the Minnesota State Bar Association and the Hennepin County Bar Association Family Law Section. Ms. Bachmeier is originally from North Dakota, received her bachelor's degree from Moorhead State University and her juris doctor degree from Hamline University School of Law.
